Ever heard that the early bird catches the worm? I am a firm believer that that is the case, especially in business.
If your workday ends at 5:30, do not start packing up at 5:25. Tack on an additional ten minutes to your day. Again, people will notice that you’re the one getting in earlier and staying later. And that might just add up to some more recognition come review / bonus time.
Speaking of arriving early, I better scoot! I just finished this bo-ring breakfast!
What’s your workday schedule? I normally get in at 8:00 for an 8:30 official start and leave somewhere b/n 6:00 and 7:00 for a 5:30 official departure.
